Pilardin AI Now Analyzes Images and Charts

November 07, 20261 min read

Pilardin AI now understands images and charts. Users can upload screenshots, scanned pages, dashboard captures, or photos of printed reports, and the AI will describe what it sees, pull out numbers, and answer questions about the visual content. This extends the assistant beyond text and tables to the visual material teams deal with every day.

The chart analysis is practical rather than decorative. Point Pilardin AI at a bar, line, or pie chart and ask for the trend, the largest category, or the value at a given point. The assistant reads axes, labels, and legends, then returns a plain-language summary you can paste into a report. For financial and operational teams, that means fewer manual readings and faster comparisons across monthly or quarterly visuals.

Image analysis covers more than charts. Scanned invoices, receipts, forms, and product photos can be interpreted directly. You can ask Pilardin to extract a total from a photographed receipt, identify fields on a scanned form, or describe the contents of an image for accessibility notes. Results stay inside your Pilardin environment, consistent with existing data handling and permissions.

This capability is available now to Pilardin users with access to the AI assistant. No separate setup is required: upload an image or chart through the usual interface and ask your question. We are continuing to improve accuracy on dense charts and low-quality scans, and feedback from early use will guide the next round of refinements.
